The song I Am I Am is the first song that I have written the lyrics to, as well as the music. It is a very personal recounting of my experience recovering from my head trauma. I captures going from dark depression to the recovery of my spirit.

Ocean currents of life are moving strong
I’ll need all my courage to go, on the life boat I row.

In the days ahead, and and days gone by, there’s a calling I Am I Am
And through valleys low and over mountains high, the air sings I Am I Am.
All around me I Am I Am

And in my darkest nights, through the light of dawn
It’s holding me, beckoning, guiding me on and on
And when I drift apart, I Am calls me to my heart.

Winds of wisdom blowing gently unto my soul
Anahata vibrating, true love unfolds.
And it’s rising in me, pulsing to the beat of my heart
Inciting and inviting me into my deepest parts, with I Am in my heart.

In the days ahead and the days gone by, I’m breathing I Am Am,
My heart beats I Am I Am

And through valleys Low and over mountains high, I walk with I Am I Am,
My soul is I Am I Am

From stormy nights, through the longest days,
It’s healing me, loving me, guiding me on my way.
And I know I’m not alone with I Am in my true home.
