Without the True One, any other support is false - know this well. ||1||Pause||
ਤੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਅਪਾਰ ਹੈ ਕੋਈ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਪਾਏ ॥
Ŧerā hukam apār hai ko▫ī anṯ na pā▫e.
Your Command is infinite; no one can find its limit.
ਜਿਸੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਭੇਟਸੀ ਸੋ ਚਲੈ ਰਜਾਏ ॥੨॥
Jis gur pūrā bẖetsī so cẖalai rajā▫e. ||2||O
ne who meets with the Perfect Guru, walks in the Way of the Lord's Will. ||2||
ਚਤੁਰਾਈ ਸਿਆਣਪਾ ਕਿਤੈ ਕਾਮਿ ਨ ਆਈਐ ॥
Cẖaṯurā▫ī si▫āṇpā kiṯai kām na ā▫ī▫ai.
Cunning and cleverness are of no use.
ਤੁਠਾ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਜੋ ਦੇਵੈ ਸੋਈ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਈਐ ॥੩॥
Ŧuṯẖā sāhib jo ḏevai so▫ī sukẖ pā▫ī▫ai. ||3||
That which the Lord Master gives, by the Pleasure of His Will - that is pleasing to me. ||3||
ਜੇ ਲਖ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਈਅਹਿ ਕਿਛੁ ਪਵੈ ਨ ਬੰਧਾ ॥
Je lakẖ karam kamā▫ī▫ahi kicẖẖ pavai na banḏẖā.
One may perform tens of thousands of actions, but attachment to things is not satisfied.
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਰ ਹੋਰੁ ਛੋਡਿਆ ਧੰਧਾ ॥੪॥੧॥੧੦੩॥
Jan Nānak kīṯā nām ḏẖar hor cẖẖodi▫ā ḏẖanḏẖā. ||4||1||103||
Servant Nanak has made the Naam his Support. He has renounced other entanglements. ||4||
